mshield 0
small example of how cheats manipulate the client. Once you understand this, it's much easier to see how to defend against these modifications. What does this cheat do? It applies a no-collision / wall-walk patch. The cheat replaces three conditional jumps: 0x73 (JAE) → 0xEB (JMP) As a result, CTerrain::isAttrOn (AreaTerrain.cpp, line 488) always returns false, effectively bypassing terrain collision checks. 0x002cdd36:73>eb,0x002cdd3b:73>eb,0x002cdd55:73>eb MS_CRC_V : d8d36171 MS_CRC_A : 2b944e96 MS_SYM : CTerrain::isAttrOn + 0x16 MS_SRC : \_src\gamelib\areaterrain.cpp:488 MS_ORI : 7335663bc173300fb7c173300fb7c8c1e10803ce0f MS_CURRENT : eb35663bc1eb300fb7c8c1e10803ce0f The log clearly shows the three JAE (0x73) instructions being patched to JMP (0xEB), changing the function's logic and disabling collision validation. ------------- ++ since the anti-cheat is performing really well in many other countries and servers, and the people I offered it to completely free of charge weren't interested, it will be paid from now on. There will be no more free access. I tried. 🙂 But it seems you can't help anyone for free here in Hungary. So I hope every Hungarian private server ends up full of cheaters, and everyone keeps paying unnecessarily for CShield and similar "protections." Good luck.
